Customer reviews about The Fryery
- Keith Inch Added 21/10/2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Why have Chip Baguettes on the menu but say you don't serve them anymore? Simply cross the item on the menu. And what chipper doesnt serve chips and baguettes? The service and atmosphere just seemed inefficient and awkward.
- Judith Allen Added 19/10/2018★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Fish didn't taste good. Chips were well-cooked but dirty (not washed well enough before peeling - so any remaining skin still had dirt on them). Large portions.... but you won't want to eat more than you have to.
- Seán Butler Added 20/09/2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★A hub of fish and chips expertise that suffers because of its location. Get down here and enjoy an immaculate take-away meal if you're within drunk walking distance. You won't be dissapointed, more impressed!
- michael haughton Added 23/08/2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Just tucked into the worst food I’ve ever tasted, it was dreadful.. the chips were sharp and crusty, the sausage was the smallest sausage I’ve ever seen, the fish was burnt to a crisp and somehow tasted like cake??
The service was awful aswell, the man was ignorant and pushy and the two girls didn’t have a clue what they was doing, couldn’t even wrap up the food which resulted in it being cold. They had bad personal hygiene as they was both looked very grubby and if I had seen them before ordering my food I would have left.
Will not be returning to this place as me and my group were very unsatisfied. Nobody should have to taste this food and should definitely not pay the prices they charge for it.
If I could give zero stars I would, it needs to me shut down. - Hannah R. Added 11/08/2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great food and amazing service. Served fresh and hot with a smile. As a tourist I was very pleased with this local experience, and the best part is the fact that it was on groupon for a reasonably low price !
Worth the visit
